Grassroutes

Grassroutes is based on the concept of responsible rural tourism wherein tourism is run, managed and owned by local village communities. Till date, Grassroute’s intervention in two villages has resulted in an average increase of approximately Rs 1,800 in the annual income of each of 90 households. Inir holds a post graduation in rural managed and has a combination of interest in rural development and sustainable livelihoods. He was awarded the Karamaveer Purashkar for Social Justice and Citizen Action 2008 and has recently become a fellow of Foundation for Youth Social Entrepreneurship.
