They promote capacity building of farmers through trainings on biodynamic farming practices which has reduced input costs by 60% and improved yield by 10 – 13%
So far, they have trained 2,200 farmers of which 1,700 farmers have converted to organic farming.
They are procuring organically and naturally grown products from around 733 farmers
The focus is on supplying the produce to small businesses/start-ups and brands focusing on organic produce.
Currently, they are in a yearly contract with 3 major brands in Mumbai, Delhi & Pune.
They are also supplying to other cities – Hyderabad, Chennai, Bhopal, Bangalore, Kanpur & Nagpur.
To strengthen the supply chain, Bhavesh is looking to set up a white labelling packaging unit that will help expand their customer base.

About the Social Entrepreneurs

Bhavesh has a Masters in Social Entrepreneurship from Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai. He has been working with farmers for 2.5 years and is extremely passionate about the same. He hails from the Vidharbha region and hence decided work on the identified challenges in the area.
